Black Pearl Urethane

We knocked it out of the park!

Hammer has been the undisputed urethane champion in bowling since the Purple Pearl Urethane’s introduction, and we are excited to carry that title through the new phase of harder urethane bowling balls. Since the PBA announced its rule change, only allowing urethane balls to be 78D or harder, our chemists and lab rats have been working hard producing the now famed NU Blue Hammer and the new 78 hardness Black Pearl Urethane. The Black Pearl Urethane is reminiscent of the Purple Pearl Urethane, but the hardness makes it a little cleaner and hooks slightly less overall than the Purple Pearl. Our pros who have tested the Black Pearl Urethane see this ball four boards less with their feet and two boards with their eyes and were able to use straighter angles through the front part of the lane.

Our pros have used the Black Pearl Urethane at events already and have been very successful with it. While few believed we could deliver performance similar to the Purple Pearl Urethane with a harder cover, our pros have proven that we knocked it out of the park with this new 78D urethane ball.

    A Staple for Tournament Bowlers

If you love the Purple Hammer, you'll probably love the 78D. If you don't love the Purple Hammer because it's too strong for you, you'll definitely love the 78D! The harder surface sees a little more length than a purple, and it does seem to shine up a little quicker (but slower than any other urethane on the market). As someone who prefers to stay straighter with urethane, I find myself using the 78D a ton!

    Black Pearl Urethane 78D

I was extremely pleased with the reaction of the new Black Pearl Urethane 78D. I don't use Urethane very often, however I drilled this piece for the PBA50 Caveman Bowl Classic to have to blend out the Wayne Webb pattern. This piece did not disappoint as I used it for 17 of the 21 games of the tournament. I was able to play far right and the ball never quit on me. It has a much better reaction for me than the purple. Thank you Black Pearl Urethane for helping me win PBA Regional title #5. Get yours today, you will not be dissatisfied. It has a special place in my arsenal.

    78 Hardness Black Hammer Pearl

The answer to the Pba‘s urethane band is here 78 hardness black hammer pearl. If you don’t bowl PBA events and like throwing Urethane is will be a great ball for you. It doesn’t hook as much as the purple so this is the perfect ball down from the purple. If you’re bowling the PBA this is a great replacement for the purple your only going to be about 2 or 3 boards right of where you would start with the purple.

    Hammer 78D

The new Hammer 78D is a cleaner and more angular as urethane ball can be. I normally struggle some with purples, due to my PAP and release. Now after I drilled the 78D I can use urethane again. I drilled mine at 4 x 4 x 0. The 78D allows me to control the pocket on those very flat patterns. It is probably 3 to4 less boards of overall hook, however it rolls better for me than the purples. This is great compliment to the purples. Hammer is still the Leader in Urethane equipment.
